Okay Oakdale Idol watchers..... where are you? This is the place to share your thoughts with all of us on what you thought of the finale.

Personally, I was a bit out of my skin with the performance line-up. Anticipating a line-up of rumored Britney Spears and the like, give it to Idol for taking it 'old school.' Can you only imagine the out of body experience Adam Lambert's parents were having as they watched their son perform live with Kiss, shortly followed by Queen. Think about that for a moment.  25+ years ago when his parents were listening to these bands on their record or 8 track player could they have ever possibly imagined someday their son would be performing with them LIVE! Crazy stuff really. That would be like me saying right now that I cannot wait for the day when my son shares the stage with Bono- hey gotta put it out there. I have to say while the line-up for some may have looked like a coming attractions for Ironstone, Black Oak or the Stanislaus County Fair I loved it. 

As for the results.... I have to say I was not at all surprised. They are both winners in that now Adam can sign a record deal and get to work (like Daughtrry did) and happily participate on the tour and Kris can be molded for stardom (verdict still out on shelf life here).
