Its so great to see my old hometown is taking the step into the new century. I have tried to keep up with the Leader and the goings on in town since I left back in 1990. This will make it so much better.
I hope to hear from the people of Oakdale about the growth of my hometown through their own eyes and not just through a reporters view of the events. (No offense meant to the Leader writing staff.)
I'm living in New York now and its a great pleasure for me to have a bit of "back home" every week here in the metropolitan area. They say New York has it all, but I still miss my Pastrami Leo from Ferrarese's and my Ranch Burger from Gillmans, Also, watching the Mustangs whup Sonora High.
Lets go Oakdale. I want to hear from you.
