SOROS: A Deadly Drug Agenda

This blog will be used to educate the public about George Soros. He was a primary funding source and backer behind California's Prop 215-(Medical marijuana). He's spending millions to legalize marijuana across the country including Colorado's legal marijuana experiment, and Washington State's. He made a fortune off the Colombian cartel (Jaime Gilinski) and has used this money to finance pro druggie groups including The Drug Policy Alliance, American's for Safe Access-(some of their paid activists are posting comments here)-Marijuana Policy Project, NORML and more.

It is important to understand who George Soros is, what his goals are, what his true agenda is, who he is connected to and how his money has influenced political campaigns including California Attorney General Kamala Harris's.

I've researched George Soros tirelessly and I have uncovered some information that is disturbing at best.

Pro druggies (Americans for Safe Access and the Drug Policy Alliance) wont like this so they will post ridiculous remarks, name call, and try to get the rating down to zero...they don't do things like normal people...they play dirty and underhanded. That's who they are.

Soros owns Quantum Fund and it's registered in the tax haven of the Netherlands Antilles, in the Caribbean. This is to avoid paying taxes, as well as to hide the identity and true nature of his investors and what he does with their money. The Netherlands Antilles has repeatedly been cited by the Task Force on Money Laundering of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) as one of the world's most important centers for laundering illegal proceeds of the Latin American cocaine and other drug traffic.

"An EIR investigation has uncovered the British-agent billionaire's hand in Colombian and related drug banking, beginning in 1994, when Soros employed his vast offshore funds to shore up the Cali cocaine cartel and its allies against a determined U.S. government effort to shut down the dope.

In January 1994, the Colombian government sold a 75% stake in the Banco de Colombia to Soros's henchmen, the Cali, Colombia-based Gilinski family—Isaac Gilinski and his son Jaime Gilinski, for $432 million. Banco de Colombia had long been identified by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration as under the control of Colombian drug traffickers, for money laundering, in conjunction with the Eagle National Bank of Miami, Florida."

George Soros made millions off cartel owned companies, such as Banco Colpatria, and Banco Colombia. In January 1994, the Colombian government sold a 75% stake in the Banco Colombia to Soros's good friend, the Cali, Colombia-based Gilinski family—Isaac Gilinski and his son Jaime Gilinski, for $432 million. George Soros gave kingpin Jaime Gilinski a personal loan of 50 million dollars...

English translation:

"Gilinski resorted to financing of the banks ING and Barclays by US$150 million and to a convertible bond emission in action by other US$150 million. But what it has called more the attention is that the multimillionaire George Soros financed US$50 million of the operation, in a personal credit to the Gilinski. Since the positioning of bonds were not as successful as it thought at first, the Gilinski had to sell the Andean Bank to cover the financing with the Bank of Colombia."

Jaime Gilinski owns GNB Sudameris as well...

"The Colombian banker’s investment in Spain’s fourth largest bank comes on the heels of other Colombian banks and bankers scrambling for acquisitions abroad. Already, Gilinski’s Bogota-based GNB Sudameris has invested more than $7 billion outside of Colombia.

Colombia’s financiers have enjoyed an economy relatively unshaken by the global financial crisis, and now they are ready to take advantage of it."

Accusations earlier this year that some Colombian financial institutions were part of an elaborate drug-related money laundering scheme between Colombia and the U.S. make an example of how rapid expansion in finance with lax regulation could let drug-trafficking get off easy – and stain Colombia’s reputation.

GNB Surameris is owned by Jaime Gilinski and his father Isaac Gilisnki. It possesses holdings in the U.S., Panama, and other countries across Latin America.

Soros' money came from laundered cartel drug money. The same money Soros has spent on all 'medical' marijuana efforts to date and all legalization efforts in California came from the Colombian cartel.

The same money Soros funds The Drug Policy Alliance with, and American's for Safe Access, NORML, Marijuana POlicy Project. It all came from laundered illegal drug money.

Several years ago I wondered why if marijuana legalization was suppose to put cartels out of business why the cartels weren't funding anti drug groups and campaigns. I used to say...something doesn't add up.

I didn't know then that the cartels are the one's actually behind 'medical' marijuana so they could get to full marijuana legalization. Soros is their front man. Soros made a fortune off the cartel.

Even the paid activist above from American's for Safe Access isn't denying it...they know they can't because it's absolutely true. Illegal cartel drug money has paid for all of Califoria's medical marijuana effrots to date, and all legalization efforts as well, and we aren't done yet...2016 is just around the corner. What should outrage the general public is that our own Lt. Governor...Mr. Gavin Newsom is in their pocket, so is Assemblyman Tom Ammiano, and Senator Mark Leno. (All from San Francisco)

MrTowlie commented on Thursday, Aug 14, 2014 at 20:31 PM

Cartel money has never paid for any legalization effort, it would cut into their profits.

"Mexican pot farmers have anecdotally said they're taking a beating..."

"Earlier this year, The Washington Post spoke to Mexican marijuana farmers who said that the wholesale price of marijuana is falling, due in part to rapidly changing laws in the U.S., and driving them out of the cannabis trade. News site Vice also recently spoke with retired federal agent Terry Nelson, who said that legalization is ""hurting the cartels," which aren't "able to move as much cannabis inside the U.S. now.""

"A 2012 report by the Mexican Competitive Institute, a Mexican think tank, forecast that recreational marijuana legalization in Colorado, Washington state and Oregon might cut into drug cartels' profits by as much as 30 percent."

Drug cartels are a business, and like all businesses they hate competition. They're not going to do something that hurts their bottom line.

As in Cartel owned banks...as in Jaime Gilinski owned banks. Banks that are on the radar of U.S. Intelligence as banks that launder illegal drug money.

Here's a partial list of banks.

1. Eagle National Bank Florida...changed names to JGB Bank. (Jaime Gilinski Bacal)

2. Banco Colombia. Formerly Banco Industrial Colombiano. (Soros invested $50 Million)

3. Banco Colpatria

4. GNB Sudemeris.

5. Banco Andino. 6. Banco Popular. Money laundering...http://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/2003/January/03_crm_024.htm

Overview

"George Soros, the Drug Lord, is America's number one enemy. By using the billions that flow from him and through him to proliferate the use of narcotics like "medical" marijuana, he reins more death, destruction, pain, suffering and economic cost on our society than all other forms of terror combined.

By his own admission on 60 minutes, ".... he is only in it for the money. He is not and cannot be concerned about the social consequences of his actions." If you understand his influence on our government and society, that should give you cause for concern.

Jim O'Neill of the Canada Free Press said it best. "If he isn't the world's preeminent malignant messianic narcissist, he'll do until the real one comes along." He quotes Rev Jess Lee Paterson in saying Soros is "anti-God, anti-family, anti-America, and anti-good."

Soros is a Hungarian Jew by birth, placed with a gentile family before the Nazi's invaded, and thereafter collaborated with the Nazi's to identify other Jews who were sent to concentration camps and their death while he and the Nazi's stole their possessions. Then the man who wants to be the conscience of the world told Steve Kroft on 60 minutes, "1944 was the best year of my life."

Soros has stated that "...the main obstacle to a stable and just world order is the United States." Maybe none of this would be important if he didn't essentially control the administration, profess to own the Democratic Party, control the media in America, and have potentially hundreds of billions to destroy America as we have known it. He says the American ship has already sailed."

The Panama Pacifico is an area in Panama close to Panama City, right on the canal, it covers an area the size of London. Building on the former Howard Air Force base started in 2007 by a company called London and Regional Properties...prior to this massive project...London and Regional's claim to fame was an old building on Baker St. The Panama Pacifico is the “largest development project in the world”, covering 2,750 acres. Supposedly London and Regional Properties 'won' the right to build the Panama Pacifico...reportedly beating out 16 other companies.

They are building a massive new city on the banks of the Panama canal, with thousands of houses, a golf course, malls, new airport, a state of the art technological masterpiece, golf courses, hotels, their own security, their own on ground transportation... a massive new trading hub known as a "multimodal port" which will utilize the new air-strip, the canal and build depots to store all manner of goods that pass through the canal.

London and Regional Properties teamed up with kingpin Jaime Gilinski, and multiple employee's from London and regional still work or have worked for George Soros. (Small world, isn't it)

It's more then just interesting that David Geovanis is the Managing Director of London & Regional Properties in Russia. ….(Remember this: "Russia's Argumenty i Fakty, one of the world's largest-circulation papers, reported (February 18, 1998) on the Gilinskis and the Colombian mafia using billions in cocaine revenue to buy up Russian resort properties, trading cocaine for automatic weapons and surface-to-air missiles that went to narcoterrorists inside Colombia. David Geovanis' employment history lists "Soros Fund Management LLC", as an employer, and he is a partner at "Soros Equity Partners".

But it's not just one Soros plant working for London and Regional Properties...

For 10 years Victoria Krivosheya worked for the Soros Fund managing equity interests. Then she went to work for London and Regional Properties.

So we have a Colombian cartel kingpin, along with a company (London and regional) stacked with George Soros employee’s building a state of the art city on the Panama Canal…which can easily transport drugs all over the world, while living in a privately owned fortress with it’s own security and cutting edge technology.

George Soros is attempting to take over the worldwide drug markets, and he’s building a fortress to control distribution.

The new President of Panama is Martinelli's vice president Juan Carlos Verela. Verela ran on an anti corruption platform too. He took office in July of this year. He's simply an extension of Martinelli and a close personal friend of Ethan Nadelmann.

lindataylor commented on Wednesday, Sep 17, 2014 at 16:01 PM

Ao we know Ethan Nadelmann is close, personal friends with Former Panama President Ricardo Martinelli, so is Nadelmann's boss George Soros.

But isn't it interesting that the Executive Director of a non profit 'drug policy' organization from San Francisco is hanging out with the President of Panama? Anyone find that rather strange? How many Executive Directors of non profit's do that?

Well, It's not strange if you understand the agenda. Ethan Nadelmann and the Drug Policy Alliance are attempting to con the public into believing that it's a good decision to legalize marijuana and ALL drugs because it's a 'personal freedom' issue. All the while collaborating with Ricardo Martinelli, who will be indicted for corruption and money laundering and who has a cousin that used cartel drug money to fund Martinelli's campaign for President of Panama. I've said this for many years...cartel drug money is funding the Drug Policy Alliance, American's for Safe Access, NORML and the MPP. Cartel drug money has paifd for all 'medical' marijuana efforts in California to date, and it's paid for signature gatherers for several initiatives to be placed on the ballot, including Prop 215, 36, NORA and Prop 19. They are preparing for a legalization attempt here in 2016.

Guess what supermarket chain it is...

Yeah...isn't it. Well, it get's even smaller.

The family attorney’s for kingpin Jaime Gilinski are an international law firm called Baker & McKenzy. They have a big office located in San Francisco’s Embarcadero Center. The Embarcadero Center is used regularly by the pro druggie group NORML and according to a friend I know that has worked at the Embarcadero Center, they use the Hotel conference rooms for free for their little gatherings. Yeah, the Embarcadero Center in San Francisco is a very interesting place, full of very interesting people. (More on that later)

Here is an SEC document dated June- 2005, where Baker McKenzie working for Issac Gilinski (Jaime’s father) were used to remove Jaime Gilinski from a private trust fund called JG private trust, located in New Zealand. The parent trust is called Pitrizza Trust.

I have to use a tiny URL, because something in the SEC document URL triggered The Oakdale Leaders word police.

Anyone recognize the name Christine Legarde? She was the Minster of Economic Affairs in France, and the first women ever to lead a G8 economy, and is the first women ever to head the International Monetary Fund. Former head of the IMF was Dominique Strauss-Kahn, you may remember that he was forced to resign as head of the International Monetary Fund after being accused of sexually assaulting a maid at a New York hotel. And She's corrupt as hel-. And so is former president Nicolas Sarkozy...

"International Monetary Fund chief Christine Lagarde was today questioned by judges in Paris over a corruption scandal.

The Court of Justice of the Republic, a special tribunal qualified to judge the conduct of politicians, believe the 57-year-old may have abused her position as finance minister to help a controversial businessman.

Ms Lagarde is said to have allowed the equivalent of some £270million to be awarded to Bernard Tapie, a convicted football match-fixer and tax dodger who supported her governing UMP party.

It came on the day that the legal problems of Ms Lagarde’s former boss, ex-president Nicolas Sarkozy, deepened."

This is the the English version of an article on Semanna.com. Translated by babel fish:

The SCANDAL OF the BANK of Credit and Commerce, BCC, was very great. And in one of the few places where it had a happy end it was in Colombia. The bank did not become broken, nor was taken part, and however it was bought and turned into the Andean Bank. But the expectation that case BCC woke up caused that many Colombians paid attention to the messes of the past and not in whom was the industralist who carried out the adquisión of the financial establishment. But it has not been spoken of him, now will be begun to speak. When the supplies began to buy the BCC of Colombia, six names were heard like possible new proprietors: Of Lima, the Financial Corporation of Santander, Diners, Prodeco, Stock market of Bogota and the Gilinski. The last one, the most known of all, was the one that gained the play to him to the others. Caleño of 33 years, Jaime Gilinski, settled during three weeks in the Intercontinental Hotel of London and, advised by the prestigious company/signature of lawyers Baker Mackenzie, it was able to remain with the majority property del that became Andean Bank. It advanced it to the negotiation with the Touche Ross, multinational of the audit, ordered by the Court of Luxembourg to sell the assets of the BCC. Although to its they saw it competitors like appeared with face as a child, a certain one is that a look to its leaf of life had avoided them headaches. It studied primary and baccalaureate in Cali, the Hebrew school Jorge Isaacs. Soon he was industrial engineer of the Georgia Tech, in Atlanta, the United States; masters in Administration of Companies, Harvard, in 1980, and used by more of a year of the Morgan Stanley of New York, the encopetada school elite of bankers, specialized in adquisión and fusion of companies....

Here is the rest of the article:

In spite of its short age, which is no doubt is that Gilinski is an economic power. He is son of Isaac Gilinski Sragovicz, of 64 years, descendant of Lithuanian immigrants who arrived at Barranquilla at the end of years 20, and who maintain investments in companies like Atila of Colombia, Yupi Products, Bon Bril, Colcurtidos, Tanneries of Itaguí and the Financial Company the International, of commercial financing. Father and son bound state to the financial sector through the boards of directors of the Sudameris Bank and the financier Jaime Gilinski is in favor tie of marriage to one of the most prominent and well off families of Panama. But Jaime Gilinski, married, with three children and player of golf and tennis, is far from only being a heir, although his father has loosen the reins to him in the new front of businesses. All their life has been a worker of complete time. In 1987 it did what its work of art considers: it brought to Colombia, specifically to Medellín, Protect Gamble, number one of the product world of the home, in an operation that concluded with the acquisition of Inextra S.A. I do not aspire to have the greatest bank of the country, but most profitable and solid, it assures with all the firmness that gives the formed salary him in Wall s$street. And its work in the last days has been shaken. The next Wednesday the clients of their bank will have new chequeras. In the middle of the past week he managed to install Guillermo Villaveces Medina, ex- president of the Bank of Colombia and of the Sudameris Bank, as new president of the Andean Bank, and already he summoned for next the 24 of September an assembly of shareholders where he will install a new board of directors, composed by names without fault in the enterprise world and financial national.

Meanwhile the details of the negotiation with the old shareholders of the BCC are culminated. So far one is to be able to the companies of sheik and princes who are in islands Cayman, Beijing, Luxembourg and Abu Dhabi, to manage to consolidate an operation that, although confidential, thinks that it could not have happened of the 10 million dollars. The certain thing is that in principle the disappearance of the BCC and the birth of the Andean Bank have managed to recover the lost liquidity with retirements by about 18 billions of pesos during scandal month and a half. It is the beginning of a new banker who has behind himself the inheritance of a Lithuanian which, at the beginning of years 30, he began to tan skins with a drum of 55 gallons in Piedecuesta, Santander, and formed a company that was called Minski and Gilinski: well-known and of success the Tanneries Buffalo.

By Linda Taylor...

Part 1

On June 2, 2010 a group calling themselves the ‘Global Commission on Drug Policy’ released a 20 page report titled ‘Global war on Drugs has failed.’

The writers claim that it’s time to legalize not only marijuana but all drugs. What may appear to be a respected group of drug experts, turns out to be nothing more than a veritable who’s who of drug legalization advocates.

The information provided in the report as evidence that the global war on drugs is a failure, was hand written by member’s of this commission. Isn’t that clever? If you can’t find real evidence to support your statements, why not just pay someone to make it up and then use it to make it appear as if the information was provided by an independent, legitimate and credible source. The information provided in the report titled “Global war on drugs has failed” is nothing more then their own propaganda, impeccably designed to fool the public. Every member of the ‘Global Commission on Drug Policy’ is unmistakably linked to George Soros.

Let me introduce you to the men who wrote this report:

1. Bernardo Sorj:

Bernardo is listed as a Secretariat, not only on this commissions report, but on a report titled “Drugs and Democracy-Toward A Paradigm Shift.” This report is also listed on “soros.org”. Bernardo is also the Director of a group called “Plataforma Democratica” and listed on this groups “About Us” page, you will see that George Soros’s organization “Open Society Institute” is listed as a “supporter”. Also listed on the “About us” page, is a “founding institution” called “The Edelstein Center for Social Research”, Bernardo Sorj is on the Board of Directors of this organization as well. Small world isn’t it? Well hold on, it’s about to get even smaller.

Several advisors listed on the “The Edelstein Center for Social Research” are also directly linked to George Soros, including Simon Schwartzman from Brazil, as well as Hernan Galperin.

A letter sent out by Sorj on behalf of an organization called “Drugs and Democracy”. Sorj is on the board of Directors of this group too... If you scroll down you will find the letter “Dear Colleagues” in English.
The letter refers to yet another group calling themselves "The Latin American Commission on Drugs and Democracy” and this organization is directly linked to George Soros. If you click on ‘sponsors’, you will see that the Open Society Institute, Platforma Democratica, and Edelstein Center for Social Research, are clearly listed.

lindataylor commented on Saturday, Jan 03, 2015 at 16:57 PM

Article continued part 2...

2. Dr. Alex Wodak.

Alex is past President of the International Harm Reduction Association (sound familiar?) from 1996 to 2004. He established the first needle giveaway program in 1986 and the first injection center in Australia in 1999. Alex Wodak helped establish the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre and the Australian needle giveaway annual survey. This is the same guy who wants to sell Australians marijuana from the post office.

Wodak is President of the “Australian drug law reform foundation”. On their website's "news/research" page, there is an organization listed under "Drug law reform websites" called "The alcohol and other drugs council (ADCA)" Wodak is on this groups board of directors. The Chief Executive Officer of this group-David Templeman has written articles condemning the drug czar, harm reduction and legalizing marijuana. Wodak receives grant money from George Soros’s Open Society Institute.

3. Martin Jelsma.

In 2005, he received the “Alfred R. Lindesmith Award for Achievement in the Field of Scholarship“, The Lindesmith Center became The Drug Policy Alliance.(Soros have given them 16.5 million since 295 and Soros is on the Board of Directors) Jelsma was given the award for being recognized "as one of, if not the, outstanding strategists in terms of how international institutions deal with drugs and drug policy." In other words he was honored by the Drug Policy Alliance for his outstanding work in selling an agenda to the general public.

lindataylor commented on Saturday, Jan 03, 2015 at 17:00 PM

Article continued part 3

Martin Jelsma continued.

In 1995 Jelsma initiated and has since coordinated TNI's- (Transnational Institute) Drugs & Democracy Program in the Netherlands, which focuses on drugs in the Andean/Amazon region, Burma/Myanmar and Afghanistan, and on the analysis and dialogues around international drug policy making processes. (with a special focus on undermining and defeating UN drug control policies). Jelsma was a Fellow at the Transnational Institute, and is listed as a partner for this organization.

Jelsma is also listed as an advisor for the Beckley Foundation
From the Buckley Foundation’s goals page- “to gain recognition that altered states of consciousness – including those produced by certain drugs – can be beneficial as well as hazardous and can be used for medicinal and therapeutic purposes.”

He wrote two support papers to the "Latin American Commission on Drugs and Democracy"- “The current state of drug policy debate trends in the last decade in the European Union and United Nations”, April 2008; and “Legislative Innovation in Drug Policy”, October 2009.
4. MikeTrace.

Mike Trace is chair of the 'International Drug Policy Consortium' and is touted in the report as the former deputy UK drug czar. However, Trace was forced to resign his position after only 8 weeks. His resignation followed the release of information from documents obtained by the Hassela Nordic Network, a Swedish-based group opposed to liberalization of drug laws, which showed that Trace was involved in an operation, funded by George Soros, to undermine the international conventions on drug-trafficking.

From the International Drug Policy Consotium 'About Us" page: "The International Drug Policy Consortium (IDPC) is a global organization that specialize in issues related to the production and use of controlled drugs" On this website's 'donor' page, it's lists the Open Society Institute.

5. Ethan Nadelmann

George Soros hand picked Ethan Nadelmann to run the Lindesmith Center in 1994. The Lindesmith Center became the Drug Policy Alliance in 2000 and Nadelmann serves as it's Executive Director. Over a several year period beginning in 2003 Senator Mark Leno took thousands of dollars from this group, while working on their behalf. The Drug Policy Alliance are the proponents behind California's Prop 215. In fact Nadelmann hired political strategist Bill Zimmerman (the guy who takes credit for the "General Betrayus' ads for MoveOn.org), to replace Dennis Peron as manager of the Prop 215 campaign. Nadelmann with Soros money, funded the signature drive to get the proposition on the ballot. That was only the beginning.

lindataylor commented on Saturday, Jan 03, 2015 at 17:03 PM

Article continued...

Why? Why would this group of men want to legalize all drugs knowing that it will have devastating consequences on communities around the world? What is the real reason, not the propaganda we hear, but the real reason? What are they trying to accomplish?

How are they able to manipulate the media into helping with their agenda?

I think the answer to these questions and more can be found back at the beginning of this article with a report written by Bernardo Sorj- “Drugs and Democracy, Toward a Paradigm Shift”, In February of this year the “Latin American Commission on Drugs and Democracy” presented its main findings on how to legalize all drugs. El Tiempo, Colombia’s leading newspaper announced with an editorial they welcomed the commission as an effort to end “repressive strategies” against production as well as consumption of illegal drugs. Isn’t that a strange thing to say if the goal of The Drug Policy Alliance and George Soros was to help the ‘sick and dying'? Wasn’t that the point of Prop 215? No, it wasn’t, and this should tell you exactly what the real agenda is. The Commission was headed by former Colombian President César Gaviria who has very close ties to George Soros. Here’s a quote from the report: “According to today's declaration, the anti-drug strategy pursued in the region over the past 30 years has failed and the situation is growing worse by the day. The Commission argues that it is time to move away from the prohibitionist policies of the past and the --criminalization of consumption-- and move toward more efficient drug policies."

Do you see what I see? These men are attempting to persuade the world that they are working towards legalization in an effort to put cartels out of business, yet their strategy points to something entirely different, in fact I believe the true goal here is -to protect the cartels and their fortunes. If we legalize drugs it will open up new markets, create new users in areas never before possible. Who better to provide the product than a cartel? If drugs are legal, cartels can legally sell them to an ever expanding market, without any fear or any laws to stand in their way.

Do you remember who George Soros is? He owns Quantum Fund a tax shelter registered in the Netherlands Antilles, in the Caribbean. He avoids paying taxes and hides the true nature of his investors and what he does with their money. In order to avoid U.S. government supervision Soros moved his legal headquarters to this Caribbean tax haven. The Netherlands Antilles has repeatedly been cited by the Task Force on Money Laundering of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) as one of the world's most important centers for laundering illegal proceeds of a Latin American drug cartel.

Nadelmann with Soros money, funded the signature drive to get the proposition on the ballot. That was only the beginning. The Drug Policy Alliance were also the proponents behind Proposition 36- the decriminalization of drugs, and basicly a get out jail free card. They told us our jails were filled with 'non violent' drug offenders who just needed treatment. Prop 36 offenders are anything but 'non violent' drug offenders most have numerous prior arrests, some as many as 9-10, with 3-4 felony convictions. Prop 36 was simply a strategy to decriminalize drug use, some sales and possession, by allowing those convicted to use 'treatment' to get out of jail. In Stanislaus County Prop 36 participants have an 85 percent failure rate.

So we know that every one of these men have ulterior motives, they are certainly not independent, unbiased sources of information, in fact we know they are intricately connected to numerous organizations with one particular agenda and one person financing it all- George Soros.

In October of 2010, the Open Society Media Program, along with The knight Center for Journalism in the America's at the University of Austin Texas, gathered a group of more than 50 journalists and academics to teach journalists how to report on organized crime. The two day event was held at Austin University and it wasn't their first event, it was their 8th. The results of this meeting was turned into an E-Book, and it's available on the Knight Centers website. There's also a report called "Coverage of Drug Trafficking and Organized Crime in Latin America and the Caribbean." listed on Soros's website here.

Here is what some of the speakers had to say about covering drug trafficking in latin America. Ricardo Trotti-Director of the Impunity Project at the University of Miami-Page 7 of the report. "Drugs and organized crime are increasingly becoming globalized enterprises.... Covering drugs and crime with police reporters means a superficial focus on the latest killings and not an examination of the more profound stories of corruption and poverty."

Tyler Bridges: Page 6."Authorites make a big drug bust in latin America. They seize a haul of drugs and nab a big fish. A newspapers police reporter covers the story and trumpets the authorites claim that they have dealt a mortal blow to a notorious drug cartel. Politicians hail the good news." This conference included tough self appraisals that cited the shortcomings of journalists in covering complicated stories involving organized crime.

The purpose of the Austin meetings are to teach journalists not to cover the horror, the truth about drug traffickers and cartels but to downplay the harm- ie, Harm Reduction Strategy.

How many journalists over an 8 year period have been taught to downplay the violence? Maybe this explains how Soros is able to manipulate the media. He "teaches" them what to say.

Soon after, each bank entered into a series of transactions that had no rationale. The banks coordinated a massive increase in lending to Moldovan entities that appeared to be unrelated. An early investigation shows these entities were all related to one another, using a complex web of transactions predominately through UK Limited Partnerships and Latvian bank accounts. It was a 'coordinated effort to intentionally disguise the true nature of these transaction and it's beneficiaries.' Sound familiar? Like a hedge fund scheme perhaps?

Monsanto was the first biotech firm to establish offices in Uruguay after legalization of marijuana. Monsanto denies any involvement in the area of GMO marijuana research on their website, yet there are rumors that Monsanto has already patented medical marijuana, or are attempting to do so in Uruguay."

...Monsanto is already underway with patenting in Uruguay. Since a plant cannot be patented, major pharmaceutical companies in 1990 began discussing the need to look further into genetic modification. Bayer and other pharmaceutical agencies, including Monsanto, all agreed to sharing access to each other’s data technology. Engdahl concluded that, to secure profitable patents, genetic engineering would be required. The collusion of the bio-techs and pharmaceutical firms supports this conclusion."

Anti-Pot Group Blames 'Big Marijuana' for Nonexistent Increase in Adolescent Cannabis Consumption

Neither Colorado nor Washington has seen a statistically significant change in underage use since legalization.

A recent analysis of data from the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) shows a small, statistically insignificant increase in cannabis consumption by Colorado teenagers between 2012-13, when marijuana possession by adults 21 and older became legal in that state, and 2013-14, when state-licensed merchants began selling marijuana to recreational consumers. The share of 12-to-17-year-olds reporting marijuana use in the previous month rose from 11.2 percent to 12.6 percent. (The state prevalence estimates combine two years of data to compensate for relatively small samples.) The anti-pot group SAM ("Smart Approaches to Marijuana") made the most of the new numbers:

Colorado now leads the country in past-month youth marijuana use, after legalizing marijuana in 2012. The state claims this dubious distinction after being in third place in the 2012-2013 report, and in fourth place in the 2011-2012 study.

By focusing on the change in Colorado's rank, SAM obscured the fact that neither of these changes was statistically significant, a point that SAM President Kevin Sabet further obfuscated by blaming "Big Tobacco" for a possibly nonexistent increase in underage use. "In Colorado especially," he said, "Big Marijuana has been allowed to run wild, and it appears that kids are paying the price more than in any other state in the country."

Past-month marijuana use among Colorado’s adolescents, ages 12-17, was 74 percent higher (12.56% as compared to 7.22% nationwide) than the national average for the two years following legalization in the state, according to a new report from the Rocky Mountain High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area.

Further, the average usage rate in states that have not legalized marijuana for medical use is lower (5.99%) than the average in states that have (8.52%) and far lower than the states that have fully legalized pot (11.31%).

Past-month marijuana use among college-age young adults, ages 18-25, was 62 percent higher than the national average (31.24% as compared to 19.32%). Use in full legalization states was nearly double that of use in non-medical pot states (27.86% as compared to 16.43% in 2014).

Adult past-month use was 104 percent greater than the national average (12.45% as compared to 6.11% in 2014). Adult use in full legalization states was 11.83% as compared to to 4.7% in non-legalization states.

Previous studies may have been skewed by the fact that teenagers tend to smoke the two together.

After full adjustment, those who had used cannabis 50 times did not differ from never-users on either IQ or educational performance.

Potential Marijuana Legalization in Arizona Threatens TASC Drug Treatment Firm's Funding

A Maricopa County nonprofit that makes much of its money off low-level marijuana offenders would take a big financial hit if Arizona voters legalize marijuana in November.

The Treatment Assessment Screening Center, better known as TASC, contracts with the county to provide six months of mandatory drug-treatment services for first- or second-time offenders who get busted for possession of illegal drugs. TASC participants, with exceptions for low-income offenders, pay their own way for the program

If Arizonans vote "yes" on the Colorado-style legalization measure expected to be on the ballot next year, it would have huge effect on TASC, the nonprofit's CEO, Doug Kramer, acknowledges. TASC would need to seek out other court-ordered funding sources "to counter the loss of operating revenue," Kramer says.

Major Study Finds MJ Not Harming Teens

A new major study by University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Rutgers University confirms what previous studies have found; Marijuana use does not hurt teens.
“There were no differences in any of the mental or physical health outcomes that we measured regardless of the amount or frequency of marijuana used during adolescence” says the studies lead researcher Jordan Bechtold, PhD.

What happens when you get stoned every single day for 5 years

"The study found that people who smoked marijuana on daily basis for a long period of time -- five years or more -- had poorer verbal memory in middle age than people who didn't smoke, or who smoked less. This association remained even after researchers controlled for a variety of other factors known to affect cognitive performance -- such as age, education, use of other substances and depression."

Daily Marijuana Use Does Not Cause Changes In Brain Structure Or Development in Adolescents or Adults

From a study published in The Journal of Neuroscience

Abstract

Recent research has suggested that marijuana use is associated with volumetric and shape differences in subcortical structures, including the nucleus accumbens and amygdala, in a dose-dependent fashion. Replication of such results in well controlled studies is essential to clarify the effects of marijuana. To that end, this retrospective study examined brain morphology in a sample of adult daily marijuana users (n = 29) versus nonusers (n = 29) and a sample of adolescent daily users (n = 50) versus nonusers (n = 50). Groups were matched on a critical confounding variable, alcohol use, to a far greater degree than in previously published studies. We acquired high-resolution MRI scans, and investigated group differences in gray matter using voxel-based morphometry, surface-based morphometry, and shape analysis in structures suggested to be associated with marijuana use, as follows: the nucleus accumbens, amygdala, hippocampus, and cerebellum. No statistically significant differences were found between daily users and nonusers on volume or shape in the regions of interest. Effect sizes suggest that the failure to find differences was not due to a lack of statistical power, but rather was due to the lack of even a modest effect. IN SUM, THE RESULTS INDICATE THAT, WHEN CONTROLLING FOR ALCOHOL USE, GENDER, AGE, AND OTHER VARIABLES, THERE IS NO ASSOCIATION BETWEEN MARIJUANA USE AND STANDARD VOLUMETRIC OR SHAPE MEASUREMENTS OF SUBCORTICAL STRUCTURES.

Colorado Offers Look At Life After Legalization

The consensus among several top state officials — who emphasize that their job is to carry out the will of the voters rather than mull whether their constituents made the right choice — is that there have been no widely felt negative effects on the state since marijuana became legal, and a crop of retail stores, cultivation facilities, and manufacturers sprung up from Aurora to Telluride.

Legalization has ushered in thousands of new jobs in the burgeoning industry, brought $135 million into state coffers last year, and ended the prohibition of a widely used substance.

“There are a certain number of folks, like myself, who were pretty reticent about it to begin with,” said House Speaker Dickey Lee Hullinghorst, a Democrat. But “the sky didn’t fall. Everything seems to be working pretty well.”

And Dr. Larry Wolk, the top medical official in Colorado’s public health department, said that since legalization no large troubling public health trends have cropped up yet.

Opponents of legalization point to a federal drug survey that estimates Colorado had the highest level of any state of 12- to 17-year-olds reporting marijuana use in the last 30 days for 2013-2014. But the change in Colorado’s youth use rate from 2012-2013 — before full legalization— to 2013-2014 — partly after — was not statistically significant. And federal statisticians say the findings are not sufficient to draw conclusions about changes in youth marijuana use patterns as a result of legalization.

Wolk, the top doctor at the state’s public health department, said Colorado marijuana use has always been high compared with the rest of the country.

“No pun intended,” he said, “we started high and stayed high — use hasn’t increased in a statistically significant way since legalization. Those that were using before are still using now, among youths and adults.”

Soros' friends are profiting off legal marijuana in Colorado. I told you so!

Organized Crime Operating Under Cover of State’s Legal Pot Laws.

"An increasing number of illegal marijuana traffickers are moving into Colorado to set up grow operations in private residences, then shipping that marijuana to states where it isn’t legal, Colorado U.S. District Attorney John Walsh said Wednesday.

“We’re concerned first and foremost because this is organized crime."

"They come to Colorado to be shielded by the state’s legal marijuana laws, pack hundreds of plants into houses, and produce huge quantities of marijuana"

"They produce huge mold problems. There’s so much moisture that we’ve seen exterior paneling buckling off the sides of houses."

"Some 40 people were arrested in raids by law enforcement in the Denver area in recent days, and will face charges including racketeering, money laundering and tax evasion as well as illegal drug charges. The black market distribution of pot outside Colorado has been the subject of a yearlong, multi-state investigation, Walsh said."

Is this George Soros' final solution for poor and minority communities? Remember, he is the primary financial backer of ALL medical and legal marijuana efforts to date.

Pro marijuana advocates told voters that marijuana would help cancer and AIDS patients and that we should make it available to them through medical marijuana. Pro marijuana advocates have exclaimed that marijuana actually cures cancer. Tommy Chong, the poster child for medical and legal marijuana told anyone that would listen that marijuana would cure his prostate cancer. It did not. In fact Tommy Chong now has rectal cancer. When are we going to acknowledge that marijuana is not a cure for cancer, it is in fact a significant risk factor for contracting the often fatal disease. Now there is some evidence that marijuana alters DNA for generations to come.

For anyone that has doubts that marijuana causes cancer...

***Cancer risk to kids from cannabis use.***

"Professor Reece said the research found cancers and illnesses were likely caused by cell mutations resulting from cannabis properties chemically interacting with a person’s DNA.

A person might appear to be healthy, yet unseen damage to their DNA could be passed on to their children and cause illnesses for several generations."

Wake up California...as Ive said for years....people like Craig66 and other marijuana advocates, bloggers are mere foot soldiers in George Soros Army. I warned long ago that Soros was heavily invested in Monsanto and that the genetically modified marijuana created by Monsanto is everywhere. Monsanto has tried to corner the market on ag crops now he is attempting to corner the market on marijuana too.

You may know that Bayer bought Monsanto earlier this year...

http://modernfarmer.com/2016/10/monsa...

Now we are hearing that Bayer/Monsanto is attempting a takeover of the marijuana industry. I'm not surprised one bit. I knew this was coming for a long time.

"All signs point to a corporate takeover of the marijuana industry by Bayer, Monsanto"

"Following months of negotiations and various offers, Germany-based Bayer has finally sealed the deal with Monsanto, purchasing the seed giant for $66 billion. The merger is reported to be the largest all-cash deal on record.

The purchase means a lot of things, and none of them good for consumers. For one, it strengthens the monopolization of the world's food supply. It also means more genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and chemicals to be doused on them."

Now, some are predicting the merge could also mean the takeover of the marijuana industry. Monsanto has an intimate business relationship with Scotts Miracle-Gro, "a convicted corporate criminal– and Scott's Miracle-Gro is trying to take over the marijuana industry," according to Big Buds Mag."

"Both Monsanto and Bayer have a history of producing chemical weapons used in war and toxic products, including PCBs, DDT, Agent Orange, Roundup and GMOs."

A citizen’s initiative called “Stop Operation Soros” has also published a white paper alleging U.S. money has been funding violent riots in the streets, as well as a Macedonian version of Saul Alinsky’s far-left handbook “Rules for Radicals.”…

“I think it is no secret and everyone knows about the very close relationship between the Democrats and George Soros and his foundations. It is obvious that if Hillary Clinton had won then this pressure on us would be much stronger. With Donald Trump winning we have the hope that this pressure will be decreased on us,” he said….
