Hello eveyone my name is Barbara and I live in Lodi,,My husband just got a Great job in Oakdale and he really likes it ..we are an hour drive from his work and are maybe thinking about moving to Oakdale can anyone give me any good Ideas where to look for Nice rentals ?? Thanks

Most of Oakdale is nice..there aren't too many bad areas. If I had to choose an area, I suppose I'd choose not to live in South Oakdale (ie the South numbered streets like S. 5th, etc). It's older and there tends to be more Section 8 and people traffic in and out. Not that it's terrible, just wouldn't be my first choice. There are some inexpensive homes for rent near the junior high and some near Fair Oaks schools. Older but nice homes.
