I totally agree. I finally watched the season premiere and it was just painful to see how they're disintegrating right before our eyes and yet, no one is willing to take that step to make it right. People make mistakes but you don't have to ride them to your grave. I hope they do what's right for their family and not just what's right for their bank account.
So it was four weeks ago when I first posted this and now last night my question was answered. Evidently it is more important to keep the cameras rolling than to save the marriage. Last night the Gosselins announed they were separating. John repeated on numerous occasions that he was 32 and still had a lot of life ahead of him. Both, John and Kate made mention of all that the show has afforded them and their kids. Noting that the sprawling estate they recently relocated to as 'the kids house.' It would seem that 'the kids house' has come at the price of their married parents. Earnings from the show pays for this sprawling estate. In the end it would seem love lost. Such a common tragedy we see when every day Joe's become famous. Whatever happened to fighting for a marriage? Seven bad months should not be the argument to throwing away 10 years of marriage and 8 children who just want their mommy and daddy (with or without the cameras and sprawling estate).
